Rob is most certainly a sauna builder, but what he doesn't quite tell you is that the artist in him ensures that the end product will be one of a kind that exceeds your expectations. A few key callouts from our experience working him: No surprises - The quote that Rob provided us was super detailed such that we had a comprehensive view of the sauna design and the resulting costs upfront. No surprises. No headaches - Because our plans called for building the sauna some 40 steps from the shore of Cayuga Lake, regulations required amendments that Rob both consulted us on and handled directly with local code enforcement. No headaches. Flexibility - A quarter of the way through the sauna build, we realized that we wanted to add a landing with a set of steps wider than the original design. Rob worked quickly to adjust his design and came back with an updated quote that was aligned with expectations. Experience - As the sauna near complete, the detail of Rob's work emerged in ways that highlight his long experience as a sauna builder. A couple of examples: The lower bench in our sauna is movable for easier cleaning. Our sauna is well ventilated which means we can bath at 200 F in total comfort.
