There are many benefits to owning and building your own sauna
The outdoor sauna designs for the mobile sauna and the freestanding sauna can be purchased and downloaded as a PDF from our online shop. These plans are for a 1-time build and non-commercial use only. We provide the information you and your builder will need to DIY and build a traditional Finnish sauna.
Our mobile sauna plans are 50+ pages and include detailed notes, drawings, photos, and material lists for both sizes. These plans, however, do not give basic instructions on using hand or power tools, basic carpentry, sound building practices, or basic safety procedures. If you lack these skills it is advised that you take a hands-on carpentry class. Some basic metalworking skills will be required for the project and there may be welding modifications for the mobile sauna. If in doubt about any of these details, consult a skilled professional.
