The Lämpimämpi sauna stove is a wood burning sauna stove designed by Rob Licht and fabricated by hand for over 30 years. This elegant and well-designed sauna stove has been a popular choice for traditional wood-fired saunas including our mobile saunas. The sauna stove comes in two sizes and is designed to be fired from the outside (or dressing room). I called my stove the Lämpimämpi by combining Lemp and Memp.
Finns will chuckle at this because it translates to: “warmer”.
The stove, or kiuas, is the heart of the sauna.
